Free Plot Digitizer
Extract x-y data from plot, graph, chart, and figure images. Upload a screenshot, calibrate the axes, trace one or more series, and download clean CSV data in your browser.
How to digitize a plot
- 1
Load your image
Drag and drop, or browse for a PNG, JPG, or screenshot. The image stays in your browser.
- 2
Calibrate the axes
Enter the tick values shown on the figure.
- 3
Trace the data
Pick a series color and trace it automatically, or add points by hand when the image is messy.
- 4
Download CSV
Preview the extracted x-y rows and download a spreadsheet-safe CSV file.
Extract data from graph images
Use this plot digitizer when the data behind a chart is not available. It works with screenshots and exported figures, supports linear and logarithmic axes, and can trace multiple colored series from the same image. Keep stair-step mode on for step plots. Turn it off for ordinary line or scatter plots.
