We’ve added a Source filter to the list of available filters, allowing reviewers to view articles based on the source selected during file upload. This makes it easier to locate, organise, and review records imported from different sources.
How Source Information Is Captured
The source assigned to articles is based on the user’s selection when uploading a file.
Source information is not automatically extracted from RIS, NBIB, or other imported files because exported files do not consistently include this information. Selecting the appropriate source during upload ensures that the imported articles are associated with the intended source.
Why This Is Helpful
Find articles quickly: Locate records associated with a specific source without searching through the entire article list.
Support targeted checks: Review articles from a selected source to verify imports or investigate questions about those records.
Improve traceability: Identify articles by the source recorded during upload.
Reduce manual effort: Navigate large collections more easily when articles have been imported from multiple sources.
How to Use
During file upload, select the appropriate source for the articles being imported.
After the import is complete, open the article list and access the filters.
Select Source and choose the source you want to view.
Review the matching articles.
Please note: The Source filter reflects the source selected during upload. Accurate source selection is therefore essential for reliable filtering.
