We’ve enhanced the Conflicts section in EasySLR by introducing two dedicated subtabs to help reviewers quickly identify which conflicts require their attention and which conflicts involve their own decisions.
This update provides a clearer separation of responsibilities and makes it easier to manage conflicts without confusion around who can take the next action.
What’s New?
The Conflicts section now includes two subtabs:
Conflicts You Can Resolve
My Decision Conflicts
These subtabs help users quickly distinguish between conflicts they can resolve and conflicts involving articles where they are one of the primary reviewers.
1. Conflicts You Can Resolve
The Conflicts You Can Resolve subtab displays conflicts where the logged-in user is authorised to take the final resolution decision.
Users can access the relevant articles, review the decisions submitted by other reviewers, and resolve the conflict.
Key benefits
Quickly identify conflicts requiring your action
Focus only on conflicts you are authorised to resolve
Review conflicting decisions before making the final decision
2. My Decision Conflicts
The My Decision Conflicts subtab displays conflicts involving decisions submitted by the logged-in user.
This section helps reviewers see and follow up on conflicts involving their decisions. However, they cannot resolve the conflict themselves.
If needed, reviewers can update their own decision after discussing it internally and reaching an agreement.
This allows reviewers to correct or revise their decisions without giving them access to resolve the conflict independently.
How the Two Subtabs Work Together
The new structure makes it easier to understand the user's role in each conflict:
Subtab | Purpose | User Action |
Conflicts You Can Resolve | Conflicts where the user is authorised to make the final resolution | Review and resolve the conflict |
My Decision Conflicts | Conflicts involving the user's own submitted decision | Review the conflict and update their decision if required |
Clearer Conflict Management
Previously, users could see only the conflicts between conflicts they could resolve and not the conflicts where they were one of the reviewers involved.
With this enhancement, EasySLR provides a more structured view of conflict-related tasks, helping users:
Understand their responsibility for each conflict
Quickly identify conflicts requiring action
Avoid attempting to resolve conflicts they are not authorised to resolve
Update their own decisions when necessary
Maintain a clear and transparent conflict resolution workflow
This enhancement makes conflict management more organised while ensuring that conflict resolution remains with the designated reviewers.
