EasySLR now supports direct uploads of Ovid (.OVD) files, alongside the existing RIS, JSON, XML, and NBIB formats.
You can now export search results from Ovid and upload the .ovd file directly to your EasySLR project, without converting it into another citation format.

How to Upload an OVD File
Export your search results from Ovid in the .ovd format.
Open the relevant project in EasySLR.
Navigate to the Uploads section.
Select the option to upload article or citation files.
Choose the .ovd file from your device.
Review the upload details and complete the import.
Once uploaded, EasySLR will process the file and add the available citation records to your project.

EasySLR currently supports the following commonly used citation files:
OVD (.ovd): Search records exported from Ovid
RIS (.ris): Standard citation files from databases and reference managers
JSON (.json): Structured citation data exported from databases such as OpenAlex

With direct .ovd support, EasySLR simplifies this process by allowing Ovid search files to be uploaded as exported. This helps teams move more efficiently from literature searching to deduplication, screening, and evidence extraction.
