We’re excited to introduce the Article Distribution feature — designed to help project owners and lead reviewers efficiently manage and allocate screening workloads across teams. This update brings more structure, flexibility, and transparency to multi-reviewer projects.

What’s New

Balanced Work Allocation

Project owners can now:

• Assign articles to multiple reviewers.

• Evenly distribute workload for both Title & Abstract and Full-Text screening.

• Designate primary and secondary reviewers for structured review workflows.
  
  

Full Control Over Reviewer Assignment

Manage who reviews what by assigning specific article sets to individual reviewers or groups. This ensures clarity and prevents overlap or confusion during the screening process.

Real-Time Progress Tracking

Track reviewer activity instantly with updated metrics:

• Assigned – Articles allocated to each reviewer

• Completed – Articles screened from their assigned set

• Pending – Remaining articles to be screened

• Reviewed Unassigned – Articles screened without prior assignment

• Total Reviewed – Total articles screened

• Completed by Others – Articles screened by reviewers other than the one assigned

How It Works

1. Navigate to Settings

2. Select ‘Article Distribution’

3. Set Up Review Groups

• Review Group 1: Primary reviewers

• Review Group 2: Secondary reviewers

4. Distribute and Confirm

Define how articles should be shared across reviewers.
Review your allocations and click Confirm to finalize.

Additional Capabilities

• Re-distribute Anytime> Team changes? Adjust assignments easily with the same tool.

• Unassigned Articles> Articles that are not yet distributed are available under the need assignment tab.

• Smooth Reviewer Experience> Once distributed, reviewers can directly access and screen their assigned articles from the screening window.
